ADECOM College Hospitality students explore the enchanting IITA urban forest in Ibadan

In a bid to broaden their practical understanding of ecotourism and sustainable hospitality , students from the Department of Hospitality and Tourism Management Technology . Adecom College of Business and Management students , embarked on a memorable field excursion to the International Institute of Tropical Agriculture (IITA) in Ibadan . Nestled within 1,000 hectares of pristine land , IITA stands as one of Africa’s finest urban forests an environment where nature, science, and serenity beautifully coexist. The center features an iconic 75-meter artificial lake , plunging an impressive 14 meters deep , and surrounded by over 140 species of trees that purify the air, cool the environment, and create a tranquil ecosystem ideal for tourism and environmental studies. ADECOM COLLEGE CONDUCTS PEACEFUL DEPARTMENTAL BY-ELECTION WITH MASSIVE TURNOUT

  Adecom College of Business and Management recorded a highly successful and peaceful departmental by-election on 19 November 2025 , with an impressive turnout from students across departments. The election took place in Lecture Room 5 and Lecture Room 1 , involving the Department of Mass Communication , Hospitality Management , and the Faculty of Business and Management Studies . The exercise was coordinated by the school’s Electoral Committee, which included Mrs. Elizabeth Odukogbe , Mr. Abiodun Olasupo , Mrs. Ajibogun Titilayo , Mr. Adeyinka Adekanje (HOD, Business Administration), Mr. Olusegun Francis (HOD, Public Administration), and other electoral personnel who ensured a smooth and transparent process. Voting commenced at 1:00 PM and was conducted through the use of ballot papers.
